About Us

Hi. My name is Tanner. I am 13 years old. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I was never a cat lover. I loved all animals, but I grew up with my golden retriever, Kona. During the pandemic, I decided that we should adopt a new family member from the Humane Society. Our golden retriever likes cats better than she likes dogs. So we thought that a new kitten would be a perfect addition. After we adopted Maliboo, we felt a special connection to all those stray cats on the street because Maliboo was once one of those cats. My mom and I decided to start feeding these 2 strays on our street. Of course, we named them and realized that they were not spayed. We put a plan in action to trap them both and get them to a vet. Then one day we realized that one had 2 kittens! We were able to trap all 4 of the cats. Those 2 kittens now have a safe home with amazing people, and the two strays are safe and in good care.
